Text description provided by the architects. The preexisting main space was a long and quite narow room, divided by two structural archs that sustain the building. Those two archs, suggested us a tunnel that could link the whole space.
Inspired on a Olafur Eliasson installation ,the result was a golden wired tunnel that gives the impression it is floating.
This structure gave the name to the club: Instalação (Installation)
The space is surrounded by concrete walls whose stereotomy is punctuated by brass surfaces that contrasts with the industrial environment.
The smaller room(VIP room) was inspired on Andy Warhols factory and the acoustic ceilling reminds some Anish kapoor interventions.
This bar is located at Porto’s downtown, where nightlife happens and atInstalação you can stay dancing through the whole night.
