Text description provided by the architects. RoosRos Architecten has given Sanibell’s new premises a style all of their own. From the basic reference point of stacked containers, a completely contemporary character has been created, which seamlessly connects into the identity of the contracting party.
The exterior of the new premises, with its sleek form, top quality materials and refined detailing, is exceptionally stylistic. The plasterwork, use of glass and extremely slender window frames lend the premises an air of simplicity, purity and perfection. The water feature and the refreshing artwork reinforce this effect.
The interior, in contrast, is robust and rugged. Many rough materials have been used and there are a number of locations at which the construction work and installations can be seen. The exceptional composition of volumes and the well thought out natural lighting design have created a very light and open atmosphere within the structure.
Character
The premises thus reflect the character of Sanibell, a supplier of top quality bathroom furniture and sanitary-appliances. The sleek exterior symbolises the top quality nature of Sanibell’s products; the rougher interior harks back to the company’s mentality, which encompasses sobriety and a willingness to tackle challenges. The premises accommodate the office, showroom and corporate concourse.
Signature
Sanibell’s new premises are clearly a signature creation by RoosRos Architecten. A beautiful moment, according to director and architect Sander Ros; “We are celebrating our 60th birthday this year. So it is great that we can deliver a construction that precisely fits the development we are undergoing, particularly in terms of architectural language. Sanibell’s new home speaks volumes about Sanibell itself and also RoosRos Architecten.”
