Text description provided by the architects. The villa is set on a sloped site surrounded by pine trees facing an open landscape.
The entrance side of the house with its closed and private elevation, contrasts with the open southwest facing elevation and its double height portico on the garden side, all set within a simple landscape arranged for screening, privacy and shade.
The house is stretched out along the length of the site in a series of volumes that step gradually up the slope from the entrance road to the double height living room at the top.
