Stefano Boeri Architetti China Wins Competition for Landscape-Inspired Technology Museum in Xi’an

The satellite practice of Stefano Boeri Architetti in China has won the tender for the Culture CBD Modern Technology Experience Centre in Xi'an, the capital of the Chinese province of Shaanxi. The new technology-focused museum is set to become a hub for scientific and cultural exchange. The winning project takes inspiration from the area's natural landscape, characterized by a tortuous system of rivers and mountains, as well as the culture of the ancient city of Xi’an.

MAD Reveals Images for Hainan Science and Technology Museum in Haikou City, in China

MAD Architects has unveiled his design proposal for Hainan Science and Technology Museum Haikou City, Hainan, China. Scheduled to break ground in late August 2021 and to be completed and open by 2024, the Hainan Science and Technology Museum is the firm’s second major public project in Hainan, after the Cloudscape, inaugurated in April 2021. Merging nature and technology, the project located on the city’s west coast will become an “important science venue and a major tourist attraction for Hainan's free trade port”.

GBO and Aworks Design Futuristic Technology Museum for Seoul

Korean architecture practice GBO and Aworks have designed a futuristic new technology museum in Seoul. Made for SK Telecom, South Korea's largest telecommunication operator, the project is laid out over two floors in the Company’s 33-story headquarters building in the city center. Called T.um, the technology museum gives a glimpse into the future life of urbanites and aims to demonstrate how technology will innovate society.
