STL Architects Create Minimalist Design for Korean Museum of Urbanism and Architecture
Architecture and urban planning studio STL Architects has created a design concept for the Korean Museum of Urbanism and Architecture in Sejong, South Korea. The team's minimalist approach features open, airy interiors and rectilinear building volumes located within the National Museum Complex Master Plan. The design aims to re-address the idea of Human Ecology by exploring ways to intensify the relationship between humans and their natural, social, and built environments.
AZPML and UKST Win Competition to Design Korean Museum of Urbanism and Architecture
AZPML and Yukyung Kim of UKST have won the competition to design the Korean Museum of Urbanism and Architecture (KMUA) in Sejong, South Korea. The competition was organized by the National Agency for Administrative City Construction, and the team’s proposal aims to create an ecological and cultural experience centered on urbanization and architecture’s role in the climate crisis.

Office Ou Designs New National Museum Complex Master Plan in South Korea
Chosen from 81 entries, Office Ou, a Toronto-based architecture and landscape design firm, has been announced as the winner of South Korea's International Competition for the National Museum Complex Master Plan of the New Administrative City (Sejong City). As a proposed self-sustaining city of 500,000 people, Sejong City will serve as South Korea's administrative city, transferring multiple national government functions from Seoul. The Museum Gardens will amplify the cultural landscape of South Korea's new metropolis.
