With a broad and diversified portfolio in terms of typologies, scales, and project locations, MMBB Arquitetos is a versatile office with multiple activities. Founded in 1991 in the city of São Paulo, the office is currently composed of Maria João Figueiredo, Marta Moreira, and Milton Braga, and over the more than three decades of its operation, it has had among its partners Angelo Bucci, Vinicius Gorgati, and Fernando de Mello Franco, in addition to having carried out several partnerships with Paulo Mendes da Rocha.

Paulo Mendes da Rocha and MMBB's Newest SESC Franchise Opens in São Paulo
Last Saturday, after months of anticipation, the SESC 24 de Maio in downtown São Paulo was inaugurated, making it the newest unit of the franchise.
Designed by Paulo Mendes da Rocha in partnership with MMBB office, the project intervenes an old department store, transforming the interior spaces from the existing structure and creating a new central structure that supports a pool on the rooftop.

The Brazilian architecture offices based in São Paulo, Estúdio ARKIZ and MMBB, were invited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Brazilian embassy in London to represent South America in the Cities of Tomorrow Talks event, that will take place in October at 6:30pm the RIBA Headquarters in London, UK.
