Copenhagen-based philanthropic association re:arc institute has announced the cohort of nonprofit organizations, people, and practices they will support throughout 2024. Fundació Mies van der Rohe has announced that a research project focused on Anna Bofill Levi has been awarded the third Lilly Reich Grant for Equality in Architecture. The project, titled “La arquitectura como contracanto: 1977-1996”, was initiated by architects Ma Elia Gutiérrez Mozo, José Parra Martínez, Ana Gilsanz Díaz, and Joaquín Arnau Amo. The research contextualizes the architectural works of pianist, architect, and composer Anna Bofill Levi and brings into focus the result of her multidisciplinary approach, intertwining practices and research in design, architecture and music.

Fundació Mies van der Rohe and Ajuntament de Barcelona have announced online that the 2nd Lilly Reich Grant for Equality in Architecture has been awarded to the research proposal: “[On Set with] Lilly Reich” by Valencian architects Laura Lizondo Sevilla, Débora Domingo Calabuig, and Avelina Prat García. The granted project was selected by an international jury, composed of three professionals linked to the fields of research and dissemination in architecture and the research and dissemination in the matter of equality.
The Center for Architecture and AIANY are currently accepting applications for the Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant. The purpose of the grants is to further the personal and professional development of an architect in early or mid-career through travel. Travel plans should be focused on a selected topic of interest to the individual, rather than a part of a larger humanitarian or institutional endeavor. If appropriate, the winner may be asked to present at the Center for Architecture upon return.
The Center for Architecture is currently accepting applications for the Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant! Proposed travel plans should demonstrate a focused course of study engaging the applicant’s interests and concerns and occur outside of the academy. The travel scholarship was originally based on the idea of the Grand Tour in which recent architectural graduates would travel through Europe experiencing art, architecture and culture first-hand. The scholarship focus is less on academic projects than on self-directed education.
Funded by the Getty Foundation, The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) is offering between 14-16 grants to attend the SAH 2016 International Conference. Application will be open to professionals in the field of the “built environment,” including heritage conservation specialists, academics and museum professionals who work with the history of the built environment.The conference will be taking place in Pasadena/Los Angeles, California from April 6-10.
