Archinfo Finland seeks for exhibition proposals to be presented in the Pavilion of Finland at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. The first stage of the open call closes 24 April.

Espace Rivière is a project to house a library and maison de la culture, along with community and recreational spaces and an Accès Montréal office in a de-partitioned building. The multidisciplinary architecture competition will involve construction totalling approximately 10,060 m2 of gross floor area.

We would like to invite filmmakers and distributors to participate in Arquiteturas Film Festival Porto 2022, and submit film projects related to this year's theme—'Slow Down!'

Candidates participating in this competition are asked to design a floating pavilion on the Drava River, which would serve as a small stage and a place for contemplation by the river. The pavilion is primarily intended to serve as a venue for smaller events and shows (small bands, discussions with notable guests, wine tasting, etc.), but also as a relaxation site, offering views of the river and the historic city centre. The small stage will particularly serve its purpose during the Lent Festival in June as an additional performance stage. It is necessary that the floating construction can be moved easily to another location by the river (if required) and be adapted quickly to different programs. The pavilion should highlight the existing qualities of the area, ensure a better connection between the elevated Lent riverbank and the river and, consequently, invite people closer to the river.

The Postgraduate in 3D Printing Architecture is a 6 month full-time course aimed at architects, engineers, designers, material engineers, mechanical engineers and construction professionals willing to specialise in this new technology, and willing to explore how it will shape the way we think, design and build a more sustainable habitat.

The goal of the competition is the redevelopment of the market area in via Buontalenti and piazza Cavallotti, through the regeneration of a central urban space for the city, which gives an input to the renewal of the historic center of Livorno. The result will have to be an increase in both the commercial and social vocation, accentuating the urban quality, welding it to the recovery and implementation of market functions and aggregative functions, with a proposal that takes into account a vision of both the specific and general urban context.

mOOO offers workshop scholarships to proactive individuals who seek to explore the architecture boundaries with a relentless curiosity in the fields of Digital Design, and Narrative-driven Design and Research. *Up to half scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants by workshop tutors.

The aim of this competition is to encourage students to brainstorm design solutions for issues that plague the world and mankind. The problem can be of any nature ranging from design problems to environmental problems. You have no constraints as to what you can design or redesign, it can be a product, a building, a space, a neighborhood, a city, or even a new type of technology.

Following the success of last year’s competition, the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) is delighted to launch the second edition of Showroom Showcase competition, which will see a series of innovative paper installations by emerging architects and designers displayed in some of London’s leading design showrooms. Extended reality needs to become more than nice renderings and simple copy of reality in virtuality. What is the sense of architecture in virtual worlds and what can architects produce and implement that goes beyond game design? I am sure we will get super interesting ideas from our students and that architecture and it's meaning and power goes far beyond what we see with classical architects going viral. Virtual reality is not a marketing hub. And architects therefor should not abuse it as such but implement basic ideas of architecture adapted to the gained freedom of not being bound to real life. Shelter, expression of ideas, form defined by use, all these criteria still exist and these are the challenges in any world.
