Text description provided by the architects. Situated in the busy and bustling Mixc in Shenyang, the design of this project is taken by Jingle Design. The inspiration of the designers started from the target positioning of the space’s features. Based on the traditional Chinese culture, the designers create unique classic scenes with classic oriental culture. “The classic Chinese elements are popular and fashionable, we intend to reappear the traditional culture with modern style, enabling the guests to enjoy themselves in this space.” said the designers. In an appropriate manner, drinking and laughing become suitable at gathering. The manner in ancient times means tender affection of the host to guests, rather than rigid dogmatic rules. At the entrance of the restaurant, the designers continue the persistent grace of the winding routine, which reshaped the classic style.
As a partition between exterior and interior, the winding path at the entrance demonstrates the privacy of the mansion and alley. Beyond the trend with different styles and designs, the designers accentuate the uniqueness of this project. The dark red wall presents the splendor and luxury of the space, enabling guests to indulge in their gathering in a relaxed mood. “We empower distinctive design to each project with unique features, leaving guests impressive memory while following commercial procedures.” said the designers.
Ancient rattan, clear crystal, scattered light shadow, and dark green elements form a feast connecting the past and present. The clear crystal, colored glaze, pure jade, and other materials demonstrate the reserved and eternal poetic atmosphere.
The complex layout of the inner hall can create multiple visual experiences through light shadow. Therefore, the guests can enjoy their time within a suitable social distance. While ensuring experience, the restaurant is full of reserved and rich oriental aesthetics. Each area is equipped with different items. The traditional Chinese culture and vintage empower new meaning to culture and art. Reserved and luxurious oriental aesthetics fill the inner hall. The lights in the space are made of crystal, a nod to the tranquil and authentic oriental beauty. Just as the Gao Pian (a general in the Tang dynasty) said: the Crystal curtain sways with the breeze, roses wafting aroma in the yard.
Elegant and human-friendly room demonstrates gorgeous and splendid sense, providing private space for guests. Guests can enjoy their personal time, tasting dainty food while appreciating the landscape through the window. The design of the single dining room follows the elegant and graceful traditional Chinese culture. Every space is of a different design. Besides the garden, there is a pavilion-like private space with a distinctive design. The transparent glass allows guests to appreciate the landscape, invoking guests’ emotions in the space. Therefore, guests can deeply immerse themselves in the tranquil and quiet space.
Just as Han Fei (a philosopher in the Warring States period) wrote in his work: After polishing, rough stone can become precious jade. So is cooking. The commercial, landscape, and experience interweave with each other. With core spirit and operation strength, Jingle Design revitalizes the liveness of the space. Therefore, drinking and dining can be full of a poetic atmosphere. Adhering to the traditional manner and culture, Jingle Design reappears the happy feast in the ancient time, presenting a splendid and grand picture.
