Text description provided by the architects. Music studio with an apartment unit located at Ilidža, near Sarajevo reflected to the fact that nowadays, recent technologies and ways of mass production question where the border between industrial and administrative buildings is. Farm as a synonym for food production as a basic need for survival could be used even for music production that has become a product that is interlocked throughout all segments of modern living.
Modern trends to design work spaces near to the living spaces is being reflected through a more rational use of time and resources.
Building is located on a flat terrain with an existing one level building that consisted of three living units covered with four - gable roof. This building was partially demolished so that it could be adjusted to the new needs.
New building is designed within the same dimensions as the previously existing one, and is divided into two functional areas: living area (80m2) and work area (recording studio 100m2), with all the necessary contents and recording standards as well as music production of top musicians.
