Text description provided by the architects. This project (apartment in Kiev) has its own unique and particular character. Decorative deer, fir trees and strawberry gives us a breath of fresh air.
Monochromic range, cold colors, simple lines and uncluttered furnishings– permanent evenness that is what distinguishes this apartment. Contrast of black and white with leather and linen elements as well as using wood textures help to make visual cleanliness. Each of these elements find his place in every room.
There are not a lot of details, but such as lace curtains with roses and ribbons on the cushions make it not just apartment in modern style but apartment with elegant interior.
The most artistic element of the apartment are deer, paintings stand alone on the floor and hang on the walls in oak-frame, designed by artist from Kiev Katya Berlova.
In interior were used such famous brands: Zuccheti/KOS (bathroom fixtures), Tacchini (sofas and beds), Arbonia (radiators), Cerim and Bardelli (tile), La Lampe Gras (decorative French lamps), Mooshop (linen), Gubi (furniture and décor). Also man who inspires me Marcel Ossendrijver with his brand from Netherland M.OSS design (lamps). And furniture brand Fredericia, there is a set of famous Danish designer Borge Mogensen in dinning area.
Together with foreign furniture manufacturers interior presented by Ukrainian brands of furniture and décor, brands I truly believe will be very successful, below are some of my favorite: Odesd2 (young industrial designers from Kiev), "LoveMosaic" (mosaic workshop located in Dnepropetrovsk, mosaic plates with birds), and some Ukrainian designers such as Marta Servetnik whose bench at the entrance perfectly fit into my vision of this space.
