Text description provided by the architects. The commissioned work was that of a home for a young family, to placed on a plot of land with limited sized space for building.
In attempt to free up the highst possible amound of land, it was decided to raise the bedrooms and family room onto the second floor, taking advantage the view by using the first floor deck.
It was also decided to keep the visual connection between the front and back of the site. That's why a deck was made to act as an enclosure for the main public spaces.
By means of movable pieces it is possible to combine or break up up spaces as well as the connections to the exterior.
