Text description provided by the architects. Located in the Valle de Guadalupe, in Ensenada, Baja California, is Encuentro Guadalupe, a tourist development of 94 hectares, including a winery, hotel and residential area.
It has its own grape plantations and area for events, tastings and restaurants for guests and the general public all year round.
One of the main premises was not to directly intervene in the field, as part of the project's philosophy is to respect nature as much as possible.
The availability of steel leads to a clean design form of the structure of the material, which rises from the ground to the skeleton of the room, to avoid contact with the environment.
With the use of weathering steel as cladding, which over time unfolds different shades, a harmony between the environment and the work is achieved.
Encuentro Guadalupe is a place with features like few in the world where there is an opportunity to appreciate the scenery and nature as protagonists, through a sober architecture that gives the user the basics for his experience: protection and comfort.
