Text description provided by the architects. The house is located in a residential area in Chía, municipality characterized by a development in which private property predominates over public goods and vehicles predominate over pedestrians.
In response to the above, an alternative type of occupation is proposed whereby 30% of the lot’s area is delivered for the enjoyment of the community.
Curved stone walls are erected on the boundaries and towards the inner part of the solarium in order to provide welcoming spaces for visitors and contemplation spaces for residents.
The program revolves around the separation of social and private sectors in areas of regular and irregular geometry respectively, abiding by the arrangement of furniture and differences between the types of activities hosted. The various domestic areas generated provide unique space experience, supplemented by the tracks which its inhabitants will leave.
