Text description provided by the architects. Easy House is designed for a husband, wife and their son. They liked to have a high ceiling room for their family gathering and simple bedrooms. The site is located in a new residential district surrounded by the mountains. TRU Architects designed the L-shaped house for embracing the good mountain view and natural light.
The contrast between the white main house and wooden pavilion is the key motif of the building exterior. The pavilion is the family room which interior is also finished with plywood panels.
The operable wooden door in front of the house protects the privacy from the street and also opens the courtyard toward the neighborhood when they need the wide view.
The interior space is characterized by the split-level which enables the five rooms and two roof terraces are located on the seven levels. The family can own the various views from the rooms with the different altitude and ceiling height.
