Text description provided by the architects. A temporary pavilion for an exhibitor during the ACE Construction Expo in Mumbai, India was modelled and constructed using parametric software.
The structure measuring 20 meters by 6 meters is made of 110 industrially die cut and laser-cut corrugated cardboard members.
Slotted system slits ensured that members perpendicular to each other at intersections lock in enabling a rigid grid that has structural capacities.
Post the exhibition the cardboard was recycled by the manufacturer.
