Text description provided by the architects. The gently sloped site is located in the municipality of Mitterberg in the Enns Valley, within a small village structure. Here the immediate surrounding landscape and the alpine formations Grimmig and Dachstein combine to a almost kitschy ensemble.

Due to the U-shaped plan the house proviedes a courtyard and partially covered open areas that are to be understood as an intermediary between inside and outside.
