Text description provided by the architects. The project comes up in front of a very important avenue, on a corner with dense traffic; so we chose a scheme that mainly focused to the interior but kept related to the context, without sacrificing comfort and quiet.
The structure consists of concrete walls and ribbed slabs in order to achieve great clearings and have more freedom to configure spaces.
Vegetation surrounds the house in every direction so as to carefully control views to the garden and surroundings, which become the immediate context of the user.
The ground’s floor design is based on the garden. The screens from the living room and play room open completely and become one big space with the garden. The upper floor separates public and private spaces with a long corridor-skylight that connects the TV room and studio to the sleeping rooms.
