Text description provided by the architects. In a country where one in two people are aged between 15 and 25 years old, it is difficult to find a project that includes everyone, there are too many differences: geographic, economic, social, and cultural. But there are two things that involve almost everyone: creativity and internet. TAG df is a annual event, that acts as a bridge between thousands of young people, and personalities like James Cameron, Brain Eno, Steve Wozniak, Moby, Alfonso Cuaron, AntiVJ, Iregular, amongst others who have shaped the thinking in technology and digital media.

This is a two day event, located in the infield of a race track, that pretends to be an autonomous and independent space, with more than six thousand visitors per day and multiple activities such as: lectures, workshops, music concerts, gaming tournaments and art installation.

Location

Our job as architects was to generate a special strategy to articulate these digital pieces within the context of a festival, along with sponsors, fast food areas, coffee, services, conference and workshop areas.

Architecture can be the generator of these strategies, going out of its comfort zone creating new experiences and journeys beyond the classic work of the architect, understanding these as ephemeral spaces, where architectural experience goes more with the experience of effects than the experience of specific spaces.

Some items that were used in this project are traditional tents, transport pallets, containers, gravel, light and shadow.

Interactive installation. A visual exploration that gives people multiple controls by touching them, exploring, creating and destroying geometric shapes and sounds.

To communicate through technology, we assume that we spoke to a real person. This interactive installation invites people to say something inside a tunnel all build with LED panels and at the same time to listen to someone’s voice recorded minutes before. The experience is a reflection through graphic visualizations with movement and sounds.

Space Ana by Antivj

Concept and Creation: Olivier Ratsi

Music: Thomas Vaquié

Visual Content: Simon Geilfus, Romain Tardy

Management & Production: Nicolas Boritch

Space Ana is and ongoing project of audiovisual performances drawn from Oliver Ratsi’s WYSI*not*WYG (what you see is what you get) project.

Projected and staged in situ on buildings on a macroscopic scale, Space Ana performances suggest another way to look at architecture through a set of synchronized visual alterations. The idea is to provide the audience with a new field of experience, a different way of considering time and space.

Proposal that seeks to explore the possibility of giving materiality to music, so you can look and perceive forms emanating from it. Also connects the sound aesthetic with visual aesthetics within rhythm and harmony.
