Already established in European markets with offices in London and Geneva, this third base was designed for a highly creative, collaborative venture capital team. Located on the top floor of a historic brick and timber building in SOMA with views to AT&T Park, a truncated light well was designed around an existing skylight to maximize daylight.
Designed with a café, bathrooms and a shower, the team members can arrive from travel abroad and hit the ground running. The latest technology in “smart” lighting by Redwood Systems, an Index Venture partner, runs on low voltage and adapts real-time by tracking room-by-room use and natural day-lighting during the course of the year.
