Text description provided by the architects. Arena Teques is a proposal of the Government of the State of Morelos to promote tourism, culture, and mountain sports in Lake Tequesquitengo.
In an area of 10 hectares, a linear park that promotes recycling and sustainability culture is proposed, generating a multifunctional platform created with prefabricated concrete elements, which, due to their quick installation and module layout, result in a system that favors versatility and generates spaces where fairs, festivals, sports, and cultural activities can take place.
The intention of the Government of Morelos is to build spaces to be occupied by the people, spaces of connectivity where visitors generate the program of each element in the path, with activities that range from cycling and hiking, to zip-lines.
