Text description provided by the architects. This is a project for a housing program of two and three bedrooms connected by a gallery, minimizing the building cores down to two. The building consists of two blocks, providing a landscaped area for the community. As this is a social housing building, to reduce construction costs we have designed a modulation and standardization of typology. The dwelling type is compact, with a high ratio of living area to built area.
The facades were built with prefabricated concrete panels providing a resounding and clear presence. In the back, where the terraces and circulation are located, the finish is a mortar plaster painted red, contrasting with the precast concrete and emphasizing the depth of the openings in the facade.
