It is a weekend residence in Japan's leading summer resort.
The noise of Tokyo is escaped in this cottage, which is surrounded by the nature of Karuizawa. An open floor plan was chosen so that all the rooms might be united with nature. The functional yard was also attached to each room.
Moreover, the view of Mt. Yatsugatake and the nature of Karuizawa was carefully considered, as the unification with nature was paramount.
