Text description provided by the architects. The new building fills a gap in the historic tissue along the red lines, providing transition between two existing scales.
The volume of the building is pierced by an ellipsoid atrium with a peninsular tower, housing restaurants.
The atrium occupies one fourth of the building area, and in essence, is a prototype of the quarter inner space.
The roof of the fourth floor is a recreation space with its center occupied by a garden over the atrium.
