Text description provided by the architects. This hilltop house is located at the highest elevation in Broomfield county. Inverted roof trusses are used to lessen the impact of scale from the east while opening up to the west to invite the endless views of the entire front range. The house is an L-shaped ranch with a bridge to the master suite pod and stone water feature entry.
The L is divided into two zones of public and private space and has an observation / lounge room sits above the entry. A lap pool outbuilding helps to define the private courtyard created by the house and opens onto it with two large aluminum and glass garage doors.
