Text description provided by the architects. British design studio, Jenner Studio, is a London-based company specialising in interior, product and conceptual design. They develop groundbreaking concepts for today’s leading luxury lifestyle, beauty and fashion brands, Jenner Studio is quickly cultivating a reputation for creating designs that are global in their appeal and unique in their production.
Jenner Studio ceaselessly searches the world for special craft and production techniques to deliver unparalleled results that are at the forefront of design and brand development. Evidence of artisanal skill throughout their designs lends tangible luxury and distinction to the Studio’s concepts while at the same time reinvigorating artistic and crafts practices through commissions.
In its inaugural year the Studio’s work spans New York, Paris, Milan, Moscow, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Most recently the Studio has worked with the acclaimed British fragrance house, Penhaligon’s, to rebrand their retail presentation for their first venture into Asia with a bespoke designed boutique in Singapore (Opened: 15/08/2011). The design draws inspiration from quintessential Victorian and Edwardian styles while combining Penhaligon’s brand heritage with contemporary manufacture and execution. The end result is a design that heralds eccentric British craftsmanship and style.
Fast on the heels of the Penhaligon’s project, Jenner Studio is currently applying the final touches to their New York project for Diptyque, the famous French perfumer. Due to open 12/09/2011, this new flagship on Bleecker will feature Jenner Studio’s seamless ability to highlight quality craftsmanship realised through design while honouring Diptyque’s commitment to luxury. Later this autumn Jenner Studio will move back to Europe with the design of their first bar space for ketel-one followed by their first project in the capital of design: Milan.
London is the home of Jenner Studio and has many smaller projects in this global city including Johnnie Walker, Blue Lounge in Canary Wharf and a fragrance concession in Liberty London to name a few. Jenner Studio’s understanding of the specialised relationship between brand and design coupled with a passion for designing environments that are unique and visually influential produces wonderfully executed experiences.
Alongside these commercial projects, Jenner Studio is also currently developing a capsule furniture collection, soon to be available in select design stores globally.
Jenner Studio is the brainchild of Christopher Jenner, a South African-born designer who lives and works in London and has a specialised understanding of the strategic relationship between branding and design. Influenced by his years of experience, Christopher Jenner’s ethos is at the heart of Jenner Studio’s work practice.
