Travertine Palace, designed by Pietro Giordano Design and built by Secon Constructions, proposes a downsized living unit that focuses on light, space, and elegance. Located in the bayside suburb of Mentone, this home was crafted to blend modern aesthetics with comfort, using natural materials and thoughtful design to create a luxurious yet easy-to-maintain residence.
To manage the northern sun and create a year-round alfresco area, the Lamaxa L70 retractable louver roof from Warema was integrated into the design. Finished in dark bronze, it complements the modern façade while providing thermal comfort and light control. This feature transforms the outdoor area into a functional and stylish space for all seasons.
Travertine stone features prominently throughout the home, enhancing the floors, benchtops, and bathrooms with its cohesive tones. The layout maximizes the advantages of the north-facing block, with floor-to-ceiling windows connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. A central atrium stairwell and a private master suite with a garden view emphasize the sense of space and light, while the curved, stone-clad shower in the ensuite adds a touch of luxury.
