Dinesen crafts solid and engineered wooden planks for flooring, paneling and ceilings for private residences and public and cultural spaces. Layers Ash by Dinesen are high-quality engineered wooden floor planks showcasing the strength and natural vibrancy of ash timber.
Dinesen Layers is a collection of engineered wooden floors that reflect the same high quality as Dinesen plank floors. Each plank is made with a three-layer construction from solid wood, providing all the natural characteristics of a wooden floor while delivering the benefits of an engineered solution.
Layers Ash features a three-layer construction, with the top layer made from high-quality solid Ash. The second and third layers are composed of solid Ash or Oak, as well as finger-jointed offcuts of Ash or Oak sourced from solid plank production. The combination of Oak and Ash enhances the hardness and strength of the planks, resulting in a durable and sustainable flooring option.
Random lengths
Each plank is crafted to be as long as possible to ensure the utilization of raw wood. The planks can be delivered in various random lengths. The effect of random plank lengths is a natural, fluid transition between rooms.
Dinesen Ash
Ash Natural planks have a rich structure and subtle color variation, marked by vigorous lines and varying heartwood amounts, resulting in a graphic expression with and without knots. Dinesen Ash is made from European raw wood sourced from sustainably managed family-owned forests in southern Germany and France, with trees harvested at 80 to 120 years old. Only the best wood from the lower 5-6 meters of each tree is selected, ensuring quality and durability. This careful selection, combined with exceptional craftsmanship, results in resilient, long-lasting floors. Each tree is rigorously assessed for straightness, growth rings, and knots, maximizing lifespan by utilizing all the raw wood.
