Metalic Wall Panels at Ledge Amphitheater | Fabral

Fabral is a leading company in the metal cladding industry, specializing in residential, light commercial, and agricultural applications. For the Ledge Amphitheater project in Waite Park, Minnesota, Oertel Architects and SEH chose Fabral’s 1 ½" SSR and Proclad metal panels for the wall and roof system.

The Ledge Amphitheater, nestled between two quarries, accommodates up to 6,000 guests and incorporates natural granite stone into its design, reflecting the area's connection to St. Cloud’s granite mining history. Since its completion, the Ledge Amphitheater has earned the 2022 City of Excellence Award from the League of Minnesota Cities.

For the amphitheater's roof system, architects used Fabral’s 1 ½" SSR 24 Gauge High Strength Galvalume Steel in True Black, providing durability and long-term performance. The post-frame wall system features Fabral’s 29 Gauge Steel Proclad product, ensuring both energy efficiency and durability. Fabral also addressed installation challenges by designing custom one-piece trim for the doors and windows, ensuring a seamless fit and maintaining the project’s aesthetic and structural integrity.

• 1 1/2″ SSR 150:Structural stability is achieved with this classic metal roof. With 24 gauge steel, standard shadow lines, and standard factory-applied sealant, this panel is designed to perform at optimum levels year after year. Factory notching for ease of hemming is available on review for 1 1/2” SSR 150.
• Proclad: For post-frame applications, this panel can be used to ensure durability on buildings that are energy-efficient and sustainable.
