Fantoni is an industry leader in producing wood-based office furniture, partition and storage walls, acoustic rooms, and MDF, chipboard and sound-absorbing panels. Fantoni's I-Wallspace series of partition systems was designed to subdivide large spaces without inhibiting natural light.
I-Wallspace partitions can be made with melamine-faced panels and combined with the 4akustik® sound-absorbent system, enhancing workplace comfort. The system also includes hinged or sliding doors with aluminum frames and jambs. The standard door module requires a minimum passage width of 90 cm, with the handle positioned 100 cm above the floor. A newly redesigned Silent door combines with the glass partition system to achieve sound insulation of up to 47 dB. Double-layer laminated glass with a special acoustic PVB interlayer helps block the transmission of sound vibrations and improves overall acoustic performance.
The I-Wallspace features a structural section made of anodized extruded aluminum. You can choose between two types of laminated glass: 5+5 mm glass with a 0.38 mm PVB interlayer or 5+5 mm glass with a 1.52 mm soundproofing PVB interlayer. The glass panels are seamlessly connected using either structural double-faced clear silicone tape or vertical transparent polycarbonate joints for a smooth, flush finish. The system also includes a curved glass profile with a 100 cm radius, introducing softer transitions between spaces. Its two-part design allows 45° curves to be created, expanding design possibilities beyond traditional 90° configurations.
