Central Bioethanol fireplace with suspended and pivoting hearth
As elegant as ever with their suspended design, the Ergofocus, Gyrofocus and Domofocus are now available in a version fuelled by bioethanol.
First and foremost, this innovation represents a true revolution in installation freedom. With no external flue and no need for the installation and connection this would require, Focus fireplaces can now be showcased anywhere: in flats with no chimney ducts, on any floor, in hotels, restaurants, shops, or in areas where wood- burning is banned. The choice of bioethanol offers unprecedented liberty of installation, expanding the possibilities for those who love design or the comfort of a fire.
This range, developed in partnership with the French specialist in high-end bioethanol burners Ignisial Paris, is designed to be autonomous, operating with an electric battery. The fully electronic, safe burner is operated by remote control.
The pure lines and compact size of the Ergofocus make it very easy to integrate in any space. It is one of the most popular fireplaces in Focus’s range of some 30 models.
It is safe
The fireplace has an electric filling pump, a safeguard that prevents refilling or relighting after operation while the fireplace is still hot, an overflow protection system, and a built-in CO2 sensor, making the appliance extremely safe. These safety features were critical in Focus’s decision to partner with Ignisial Paris to develop a burner specifically designed for each of these Focus models.
It is attractive
The burner has been conceived for the interior space of the fireplace in harmony with its hearth opening. The flame play, the ultra-realistic ceramic logs and simulated glowing bed of embers are stunningly similar to a real wood fire.
It is retrofittable
Another major innovation is that the burner has been designed so that it can be retrofit for an older-generation model with an open wood-burning hearth. The hearth can be converted to a bioethanol burner by removing the grate used for the logs and sweeping the flue. This must be carried out by an authorised dealer. This retrofitting system is an effective solution in all regions where regulations restrict wood-burning fireplaces.
It is made in France
The design and production of the burner as well as the fireplace are 100% French. Moreover, Focus recommends using Aluflam bioethanol by Ignisial Paris, an odourless and colourless fuel made from sugar beet grown and distilled in France in the region of Champagne.
