Technical Stone in Valencia Apartment Renovation | Grespania

Grespania is a global leader in the manufacturing and marketing of innovative ceramic products. For over 40 years, the company has maintained its position through continual investment, the incorporation of the latest manufacturing advancements, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Notably, Grespania's porcelain tiles and technical stone were applied in the renovation of this apartment in the Gran Vía area of Valencia, Spain.

The renovation of this early 20th-century apartment with Grespania's Coverlam brings it into contemporary life. Architect Juan Montoliu's project first demolished all partitions to create an open-plan space. The redistribution of the spaces was then defined by the client's needs, which prioritized practicality. The open concept flows from the entrance to the main façade, where a hidden curtain rod allows curtains to be placed as needed. At the opposite end, overlooking the space, is the kitchen. Adjacent to the living area is the secondary room, connected by a large wooden frame that can be folded to completely open the passageway.

The combination of the same coating with Grespania's Coverlam Cuarzo Reno brings unity to the kitchen as a whole, since walls, countertops, furniture, and tables are clear examples of the defined style. The choice of black for accessories and taps adds elegance to the whole. The use of the same porcelain material in the kitchen, in the niches of the master bedroom, and the headboards, gives continuity to the design, acting as a red thread of the reform. The placement of wood panels from floor to ceiling in the hallway allows the integration of large format doors, making them almost invisible. As for the flooring, the placement of a porcelain floor with a herringbone pattern completes this exclusive architectural project.
