Tagina is an Italian company that manufactures high-end ceramic stoneware since 1973. Their outdoor and indoor porcelain collections draw inspiration from different materials such as marble, stone, wood, and cement, also offering a diverse array of contemporary finishes. Interior designer, Vittoria Ostini chose the Tagina Lilac stoneware collection for her residence in Lurago Marinone.
The residence has a notable staircase connecting the first floor with the mezzanine area, featuring Tagina's Lilac marble-effect collection. The glossy finish of the 60×120 tiles, with a thickness of 10 mm, adds texture and visual appeal. Ostini opted for a special triangular corner piece to ensure the veins of Lilac flow continuously along the staircase, creating a cohesive aesthetic from the first to the last step.
Tagina Lilac stoneware collection draws inspiration from an oriental marble type, characteristic of the violet hues of its veins. Lilac ceramic slabs are available in various large and medium sizes, suitable for flooring, wall covering, and diverse applications. Lilac features a polished surface achieved through the incorporation of special granules in the manufacturing process.
