Tagina is an Italian company that manufactures high-end ceramic stoneware since 1973. Their outdoor and indoor porcelain collections draw inspiration from different materials such as marble, stone, wood, and cement, also offering a diverse array of contemporary finishes. For Himalayan Birch House, the architect selected Tagina's Apogeo collection, which features a stone and concrete effect.
The Himalayan Birch House, designed by Stéphane Herrgott, is inspired by Japanese contemporary architecture. The heart of this private residence revolves around the interplay of light and shadow, representing a profound interpretation of architecture as art.
To further accentuate this interplay, the Apogeo collection was chosen for the external flooring of the residence in White color and in the 90×90 cm format, also used to cover the pool area. This choice resulted in a light, yet technically functional and safe environment, thanks to the R11 outdoor finish.
