Façade Cladding in Hotel Projects | Cosentino

Cosentino designs and produces surfaces that strike the perfect balance between luxury and functionality. Cosentino's Dekton® façade cladding was used in hotel projects due to its durability, quality and color range.

LD Sevilla Hotel

VAU Arquitectura took the lead on LD Sevilla Hotel’s design, relying on Cosentino's ultra-compact Dekton® surface, using 3,100 m2 across the building. The exterior façade needed to withstand high levels of solar radiation. The standard Dekton slabs (3200×1440 mm) were cut to three heights (700 mm/350 mm/175 mm). These were adapted to the façade, characterized by varying heights, sizes and cantilevers.

The final result was (according to lead architect Alejandro Rivero) “a building of clean lines with horizontal stripes enhanced by strong horizontal joints, where we have tried to create a powerful, unified image while maintaining attention to detail”.

Hotel Yilan in Taiwan

Located in Yilan, Taiwan, this luxurious 5-star hotel offers elegant architecture and superior quality. Cosentino surfaces were selected to cover the façade—a total of 3,800m2 of ultra-compact Dekton® surface was used in colors Aura (1,300m2) and Kelya (2,500m2).

Dekton® surfaces achieve aesthetic uniformity and have essential properties due to their dimensional stability, color stability, and high resistance to stains and graffiti. Dekton® is also easy to maintain, due to a high resistance to ultraviolet rays, extreme temperatures and scratches.
