While DCWéditions lighting objects vary from classic to contemporary in aesthetic, one aspect remains consistent across each design: quality. Knokke Lamps from DCWéditions were used on the tables of Gusave Restaurant, located in Paris, France.
Gustave was a pop-up restaurant for the Paris Biennale. The temporary dining venue was thoughtfully designed for an elevated fine dining experience. Every detail was accounted for. From the location (the Grand Palais Éphémère, with a view of the Eiffel Tower) to the food (by renowned chef Nicolas Sale) and the aesthetic (lit up by DCWéditions lighting designs).
The culinary offerings at Gustave provided an extraordinary gastronomic experience. Each plate was a delight to the palate, as well as a visual masterpiece. So it was only right that Knokke lamps were selected to adorn the tables, as they made the perfect lighting accompaniment to the dishes.
DCWéditions designed Knokke—battery-powered lamps that brought a touch of elegance to the tables. In the evening, these lamps provided a chiaroscuro light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Shaped like tender and magical candles, they invited guests to share intimate moments and appreciate the magic of sharing a meal. This innovative lighting design played a crucial role in setting the mood, with its soft, flickering glow adding a touch of romance to the environment.
Every aspect of the pop-up restaurant was meticulously planned to create an unforgettable dining experience. From the beautifully set tables to the carefully chosen lighting, each element contributed to the restaurant's ambiance.
