More about this product

Stonetech is a Greek company specializing in the quarrying, processing, and trading of natural stones such as marble and other engineered surfaces. Their portfolio includes exclusive quarries and exclusive partnerships in Greece and around the globe. All their products can be exported in blocks, slabs, and cut to size.

Stonetech exports blocks, labs, and 2D and 3D cut-to-size products to over 40 countries worldwide, aided by automated and robotic production technologies. Their team comprises experts on every stage of stone handling, from production to design. Stonetech has teams for internal design, architecture, engineering, tendering, a sampling lab, project management, and wholesales.

Quarella's composite surfaces are imported by Stonetech and are available through the network of partners in the country and owned showrooms.

Composite surfaces are among the artificial decorative stones, and they are produced in fully automated production lines from the compression of shards of calcite or dolomite marbles and limestones with the addition of resin, fillers, and pigments. They are produced in molds in large blocks, which are then cut into slabs and custom dimensions.

Artificial marble is used the same way as natural stones and marble; the most common uses are in floors, cladding, and decorative constructions.

The advantages of artificial decorative stones place them high in the preferences of architects and interior designers. Due to their composition, composite surfaces have better uniformity than natural materials and ensure homogeneity when applied to large spaces, e.g. floors of shopping centers, airports, metro stations, hotels, supermarkets, hospitals, and professional spaces, but are also used in residential projects.

As an artificial surface, the color range of the material is unlimited, with monochrome, veins, shades, mosaic patterns, and other options. It is a material that competes with natural ones, in terms of beauty, properties, and cost.
