Love Tiles is a tile manufacturing company that offers resistant and adaptable options for designers seeking to replicate the looks of unlikely materials, on interior design. Such is the case of the Golden Refuge, a residential bathroom clad with the Precious collection by Love Tiles, inspired by Carrara and Calacatta stone.
This project is part of a home-wide remodeling project. A large part of the spaces, covered in two-tone tiles, will give space to an elegant style, without losing the connection to the past and timelessness.
For the renovation of this bathroom, the material chosen was a ceramic inspired by marble, in white and amber tones, the Precious Calacatta Gold collection. This combination combined the luminosity of the space, given by the large window, with the elegance and detail of this ceramic material.
The organization of the space was also a challenge and Love Tile’s Bathroom Advisor team managed to enlarge it in two ways: they introduced, at the owner’s request, the Italian shower in one of the extremities of the space and they placed a large mirror above the sink in the remaining wall. This way, the team managed to make the space functional and increase the sense of depth.
Incorporating the amber color in the veins of the Precious Calacatta Gold pieces made the environment more welcoming and intimate, fitting in with the colors of the taps and the decoration details.

The Precious collection consists of 19 different tiles in two base colors -Calacatta and Calacatta Gold- in five formats and four thicknesses. The tiles come in matt, shiny or polished finishes. The polished finish is recommended for floorings combined with matte or shiny finishes in wall claddings.
