In the natural landscapes of Mallorca, Christine Leja has curated a two-story property rooted in the ethos of the Bauhaus style. The interior design project involved modifying the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, as well as the open spaces of the ground floor that include the living/dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Large sliding panels lead to an outdoor area with a terrace, kitchen, swimming pool, and a beautifully landscaped garden.
Leja's design is characterized by simplicity, seamless integration of nature, and the use of diverse materials. The interiors are vibrant and colorful, with bright yellows, rich pinks, and verdant greens dominating the color palette. A key element of the design is the use of HEWI System 111 lever handles in radiant yellow. These handles are not just functional elements but are also fundamental to the building's concept. They have a timeless design and quality craftsmanship that seamlessly integrates into the architecture.
