Siero Lam is a leading European manufacturer of chestnut wood and other high quality Woods products prioritizing customer service and circular economy principles. Laminated beams from Siero Lam were used in the Goethe Tower, located in Frankfurt, Germany.

The former observation tower in Frankfurt, which fell victim to arson in 2017, was a loss felt deeply by the city's residents. Its reconstruction, standing at 43 meters tall in the city forest, utilized primarily sweet chestnut laminated beams.

Sweet chestnut was chosen for its durability, stability, and suitability for outdoor use without requiring preservation treatment. The decision to use sweet chestnut laminated beams was influenced by their FSC sustainability certification and CE certificate from the Otto-Graf Institute of MPA Stuttgart, ensuring both environmental responsibility and structural integrity.
