The TTV House is situated in Madrid's Malasaña district and was built using common urban construction techniques. The primary objective of the project is to optimize the corner location of the residence.
The intervention aims to redefine domestic living by creating a space that spans the entire residence and accommodates various activities. Structural elements play a significant role in organizing domestic experiences. Additionally, the house's perimeter is treated to provide insulation, storage, and solar control.
The architects employed a simple material palette, with maple wood paneling prominently featured in the central space. Various elements were accentuated with Satuario Matte mosaics from ONIX Deco Square Ecostones collection. The 25x25 mm tiles have a unique white marble look with veining. To enhance the space's comfort, the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms were clad with this finish, providing an elegant decoration and a safe non-slip finish. Sleeping and storage areas feature neutral-toned materials such as continuous flooring, white lacquered panels, and smooth ceilings.
