Glass Mosaic Pool Patterns in Maldives Resort | ONIX

The JW Marriot Resort in the Maldives is renowned for its private villas overlooking the turquoise sea and its unique contemporary architecture. One of the resort's highlights is its luxurious infinity pool, designed to offer guests a revitalizing experience. To achieve a trend-setting look in this relaxation area, Miaja Design Group used ONIX's zigzag Pool Patterns as the cladding for this sea-facing pool.

These glass mosaics from the Pool Patterns collection were inspired by a textile motif in blue, white, and black with a glossy finish, ideal for finishing artificial bodies of water. In contrast to the wood decking of the pool area and restaurants, the zigzag cladding makes the water element the central point of the design. The T-shape pool is divided into different zones through changes in depth with smooth transitions that can be covered with ease by the 1" square mosaics.
