Wire mesh from Codina Architectural was used as part of the facade design for UDIMA University. Situating in Madrid, the private university is designed as a complex made up of four parts that intersect in a central space. Designed by José Manuel Sanz the interior spaces offer high flexibility and openness, ensuring to regulate natural light while maintaining the exterior views.
Facade Design
To achieve this the facades were designed using three different elements. The entire facade consists of glass and concrete. Some of the openings and curtain walls are covered with a metal mesh from Codina Architectural. The selected mesh was the TORROJA R model in stainless steel. A special fixing technique was designed for this project.
