The Capitolio series from Grespania is inspired by travertine marble. Characterized with a natural finish, the porcelain tile is notable for its delicate bas-relief that draws inspiration from the surface of the rock. The effect, paired with the design gives the series a natural feel.
The series utilizes a combination of two graphics: Vein and Cross. These represent the two patterns (with and against the grain) found in a block of travertine marble in a quarry. This diversity in graphics enhances the potential combinations of the material.

The Capitolio series is made up of three colors: Bone, White, and Pearl. The first replicates the ivory shade of natural untreated marble, the white color offers luminosity and timelessness, and Pearl is inspired by the natural Paradiso travertine marble with bluish tones. The collection is available in four formats and is rounded out with three decorative mesh-mounted tiles only available in the Cross model: Palatino, Tiber, and Celio.
