Maintenance-free wood siding from PARKLEX PRODEMA was used in a private home. Situated on the shores of Lake Burton the Martino Lake House is a two-story structure integrated into the contours of the sloped terrain. Designed by David E. Surface, the house incorporates a rustic modern aesthetic, showcasing high-quality construction materials. The exterior facade is wrapped in a siding system made with PARKLEX PRODEMA-engineered wood panels.
House Exterior
Having previously experienced the allure of wood cladding in their Aspen home, the Martinos chose to go with the same aesthetic for their lake house. The main challenge was to find a natural wood solution that required minimal maintenance. PARKLEX PRODEMA panels, featuring a surface layer with natural wood instead of printed paper, deliver an elegant solution while offering all the advantages of high-tech exterior siding systems.
Siding Panels
Aside from eliminating the need for maintenance, PARKLEX PRODEMA siding panels offer high resistance to extreme weather agents, withstanding the rigors of lakeside weather conditions. The Rubi finish, which further embodies the warmth of natural timber with its reddish undertones, extends to the detached boathouse, ensuring a seamless architectural presence.
