Solid Oak Wood Floor in Stavanger Residence | Dinesen

Solid Oak wood from Dinesen was used in a private residence in Norway. Situated in Stavanger, the home overlooks the water and is designed to stand out in form and materials from the surrounding architecture.

House Design

The house consists of two floors and a basement which are accessed from the entrance hall. The upper floor includes the open-plan kitchen and family room, as well as the main bedroom and bathroom. The basement contains a small wine cellar as well as the guest bedrooms.

Oak Wood

The floors are made of large Italian granite tiles and wide Dinesen Oak planks - perfect for the large, airy rooms. The Oak Wood is also used for the interior doors and bespoke furniture pieces. Finally, the Dinesen Oak planks are used for the kitchen finish and the two large staircases.
