Douglas planks from Dinesen offer solid wooden flooring with high-quality boards with a distinct look. The large dimensions made possible with the flooring allow for various expressions from large elegant formats to smaller pieces for more detail.
Dinesen Pattern is a special option where large planks are laid in familiar historical patterns. A modern solution with respect for history, which takes on a contemporary and exclusive appearance due to the proportions. One can form the patterns Squares, Bond, Mosaic, or a Herringbone floor.
Features
- Large Dimensions
The Douglas tree stands up to 60 meters tall. Due to this, the plank dimensions can be up to 15 m long and 45 cm wide, with a thickness of 35mm.
- High-Quality Control
The Douglas trees are between 80 and 120 years old. The quality control begins in the forest where each tree is carefully selected, and continues throughout the process. In the production facilities in Denmark, Dinesen combines the latest technology with traditional virtues of craftsmanship in order to make planks of uncompromising quality.
- Sustainable
Raw wood is sourced from sustainable forestry. This includes forests in Germany and other European countries where forestry has been based on sustainable principles for centuries.
- Underfloor Heating
The planks are well-suited for underfloor heating, with about 80% of Dinesen's projects incorporating it under the floors.
