More about this product

Shade Factor’s Lamaxa Louvre Roof offers a high-quality and smooth operating roof system with a minimalist design. The product was awarded both the 2018/19 Plus X Award, and the 2019 German Design Award.

The roof consists of controllable tilting louvres that allow the user to precisely control the amount of sunlight and shade within the outdoor space. When closed, the louvres overlap and seal against each other, creating a waterproof canopy. Rainwater is safely carried away from the structure through the specially designed louvre ends and the integrated gutters. The supporting legs act as the drainage system, carrying the water away from the structure.

The range includes three models, the L50, L60, and L70. All models are available up to 6m long by up to 4.5m wide (24m2 max) and are available in an extensive range of colours including DB Classic and RAL colour ranges.

Benefits and Features

  • Louvres tilt to allow the control of direct sunlight and shade
  • Interlocking louvres create a waterproof roof when closed
  • Integrated drainage system incorporating enclosed gutters and downpipes
  • Integrated with Shade Factor’s WMS Control systems
  • Wind resistance up to 1.1 kN/m2
  • Can bear load up to 230 kg/m2

Lamaxa L50 Louvre Roof

The L50 model offers a simplified design through the use of a discrete motor within the slat profile, and a push rod system to pivot the slats up to 135 degrees. Additional accessories can be integrated into the system. These include GranTex a vertical awning that can be integrated within the crossbeam for additional weather protection and privacy, LED lighting modules as well as color coordinated radiant heaters. The L50 can be integrated with existing structures or installed freestanding.

Lamaxa L60 Louvre Roof

The L60 model offers the same design functionality and aesthetics as the other models. Optionally, Shade Factor’s Zip Awnings can be integrated into the top rails to add operable vertical shading and wind protection to any of the sides.

Lamaxa L70 Louvre Roof

The L70 model has louvres that both tilt and can be retracted into a compact stack at one end. This allows for control of light and shade, and the ability to stack the louvres when not required. Both tilting and stacking are motorized and can be controlled via a hand-held remote control or other control system.
