Conservatory awnings from Shade Factor offer an effective and aesthetical way to control light and temperature. The awnings are available in a variety of styles and finishes to suit a variety of designs and structures. Certain models can be combined to create unique solutions as required. Fully retractable the awnings offer shade for warmer days and sunlight for cooler days.
Some of the benefits include:
W7 Conservatory Awning (Cantilever Edge)
Shade Factor’s W7 conservatory awning features a cantilevered design that allows the awning to visually float above its supporting structure. The concept offers design freedom and makes the product adaptable to a variety of roof types where side-guided awnings would not be possible. The fabric is drawn with a pair of toothed belts concealed in the guide rails. Applications Include conservatories, residential glazed skylights, landscape structures, streetscape structures, and applications in other planes; for example upside-down shading of a vertical face (the precondition is that the cassette must be horizontal) |
W9 Conservatory Awning
W9 Conservatory Awnings are installed under glass conservatories which protects the fabric against the effects of weather. The awning operates using a back-pull principle. The awning is available with either an electric drive (standard motor) or a radio motor. Several awnings can be linked to a common motor. Applications include commercial atria or skylights, workspaces with overhead glazing, residential glazed skylights, landscape structures, and streetscape structures. |
W10 Conservatory Awning (Under Glass)
W10 is a large-capacity conservatory awning that uses a unique side tensioning system. The system maintains fabric tension in both directions and conceals the light gap that is normally seen between fabric and guide rail. The fabric is drawn and extended with a unique spring steel slat concealed in the guide rails. Cubic and Triangular awnings Type D1 & D2 are partner products utilizing the same cassette profile. This family of awnings can be combined to treat complex glazed-hipped roof structures. Applications include commercial atria or skylights, workspaces with overhead glazing, residential glazed skylights, landscape structures, streetscape structures |
W19 Conservatory Awning
Shade Factor’s W19 offers a large capacity conservatory awning suitable for widths or projections of up to 6 meters. The fabric is drawn with a pair of toothed belts concealed in the guide rails. Triangular awning D3 is a partner product that utilizes the same cassette profile. This family of awnings can be combined to treat complex glazed-hipped roof structures. Applications include conservatories, commercial atria or skylights, residential glazed skylights, landscape structures, greenhouses, streetscape structures, and applications in other planes: for example upside down shading of a vertical face (precondition is that the cassette must be horizontal) |
W20 Conservatory Awning
The W20 is a stylish conservatory awning from Shade Factor which features a newly designed slim cassette to protect the fabric when not in use and utilizes the patented Warema secudrive® guidance system. Secudrive® incorporates a stainless spring steel ribbon for perfect guidance of the fabric, providing high wind stability and eliminating direct sunlight from the fabric edge. Large sizes of up to 24m2 are possible. It is also available in a cubic design. Applications include skylights, light courts, glazed outdoor structures, glass conservatories, sloping wall windows, and pergolas with pre-existing frameworks. |
D3 Conservatory Awning (Triangular)
Conservatory awning type D3 completes the picture for multifaceted glazed hip roofs. The operating principle ensures that the awning always draws a square, accurately, and smoothly. Rectangular awning Type W19 is a partner product that utilizes the same cassette profile. Applications include conservatories, patio roofs, and pergolas. |
