Villa Magdeburg is a contemporary residential project designed by Acers GmbH, situated on a generous plot of land directly on the Elbe River in Germany. The project aimed to create open and light-filled spaces; the innovative design required high-quality materials to achieve its modern aesthetic. SwissFineLine's large windows played a crucial role in meeting these requirements. They are fully automated, smoothly gliding on hidden floor-mounted guide rails, seamlessly connecting the interior with the outdoors.
The highlight of this project is the glazed pool area, equipped with SwissFineLine Frameless Sliding Windows that reach a height of 4.8 meters. The large-format glass elements not only provide a captivating aesthetic but also offer exceptional thermal and sound insulation.
The collaboration with SwissFineLine was instrumental in bringing this architectural vision to life. SwissFineLine's top-tier glazing blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, offering residents an uninterrupted view of their surroundings.
The open and light-filled room design serves as an ideal backdrop for stylish furnishings, creating a natural ambiance as the generous sliding windows flood the rooms with soft light. These large window elements, fully automated and nearly silent on their hidden floor-mounted guide rails, establish a seamless connection to the outdoors
